Master's Editorial on Kharduum ~ Updated 09/13/98

Well well well...Fred assured me that we would see Kharduum up and ACTIVE 90 days after the commercial release of Panterra. That was in May. (and yes folks, he told me I would "eat my words" on Kharduum not being open)

May, June, July. End of July Kharduum opened! Wheeeeee!!

NOT.

What we did see were more stalls, more excuses, and more double-talk from Fred (as usual). What we players would LIKE to see is a decent time table, and not this guessing bullshit. Because face it folks, Fred has been telling us what we WANT to hear...not the truth.

Truth is this - if he says something will be...he needs to stick to his word. A man is only as good as his word, and if he cannot keep it, he should NOT OFFER IT.

Kharduum..Kharduum, ah yes Kharduum!
This was originally suppose to be one month behind the Commercial release of Panterra, this being late June early July. Yet it was pushed back in development due to some BS about "new Geo tools needed."

Yeah, sure. Right.

When I and my brother expressed our concern about the pending release of Kharduum, Fred was very prompt in saying it would be released within 90 days, and we would eat our words for doubting it. Well, 90 days has come and past, and we have yet to see Kharduum. While it is supposedly in testing right now, I noticed I was not in the list invited to take a sneak peek and form a opinion about it. You would think after spending a year of investing my time into his game, I would at least be honored with a one week trial of Kharduum. Especially after Fred stated, and I do quote "Those Soulies and ITBs will be the first people I kill in Kharduum :)"

It was stated on the Kharduum boards that Fred had out-right lied to us about the 90 day deal, and told he is now eating his words. His response? the prompt close-down of all the Kharduum boards, and a long winded post that made you wanna whip out a friggin violin and play a tune for him.

My final comments, I'll be more then happy to post my wrong in doubting Fred on the public boards where all can see, if Kharduum truly rocks as he said it would. You will never see this happen, as Fred will never allow me or my brother into the game for the simple reason that in the event it does suck; word will get out and people will leave.
