My boss recently got a nasty virus on his home computer via his GPS "Tom Tom" he downloaded the map update from the tomtom site and it really did a number on his machine. One of those fun Trojans that makes up .exe names and keeps you from installing anything by removing permissions. Really kinda sucks that you can now get viruses from Digital Photo Frames and other devices, they will have to come up with virus scans for devices now. What a pain.

Power Supply On/Off

Put a new Antec powersupply and MSI motherboard in an ATX box.

I am looking at getting a new computer for the folks. Their old one is pretty much dead. I was thinking of getting a Dell with an extended service plan (my mom has a way with appliances...). I am thinking of getting them something with 2gb of RAM and whatever processor (really out of the loop now). They will need it for browsing the web, email and that is about it. On the rare occasions I am home, I would use it for work stuff, but that will be like once a year.

Anyone have recommendations? Price targets I should reach?
